Mona's Worst Enemy

Tasting notes

Mona likes her life organized, her opinions loud and her stepbrother David as far away as possible. Then the parents head off to work, a honking car ride goes sideways, and she is stuck at home with the one man she refuses to respect. Episode 1 is pure bickering with a lot of stolen glances. Episode 2 hands them chores and a bargain: wash up, and he'll take her out clubbing, with a present to wear. The banter gets sharper, the pauses get longer, and Mona's rulebook starts reading like a suggestion. Fifteen episodes make this the family tray of the aisle.

Flavor profile

A daily war of wits where every insult doubles as flirting and pride cracks first. Mona, who turns up in other Candy series too, is at her prickliest here. The line in play separates stepsiblings who loathe each other from two keeping score. Free episodes stay teasing.

Allergy advice Contains: wounded pride, sibling rivalry and one suspiciously clean kitchen. May contain traces of denial, served daily.

Best enjoyed Perfect for a loud playlist, a rivalry of your own, and a friend yelling at the screen to just admit it.
