Eva sits down in a therapist's office to talk herself out of an obsession with the man staying under her mother's roof. He is her stepsister Rachel's fiance, and he is very hard to forget after a scenic ride in the pines. Episode 1 plays like a confession interrupted by flashbacks, with sharing treated as a family tradition. Episode 2 moves from the couch to a fogged glass door and a night Eva still cannot fit into her head, until a familiar voice says hello. The therapist listens a bit too eagerly, and the rest of the household seems to know the script. Everyone is polite, which makes it worse.
