Is Candy AI free? In part. The opening episode of each open series is open to anybody, a free account adds the second, and the rest sits behind Premium and tokens. If you were hoping for a Candy AI free trial of the whole thing, we did not find one, but the free part is real and covers 361 episodes, about 407 minutes. Here is exactly who gets what.

Start here, because it needs nothing from you. The opening episode of every open series plays with no account: no email, no sign-up, no card. Open one, press play, and you are watching. That works in the browser on a phone or a computer. When we checked, neither big phone app store listed a Candy Shorts app when we looked.
What you see is suggestive rather than explicit: setup, tension and cutaways. It is the first minute of a story, built to make you want the second one. The whole thing is AI generated, with adult characters only.
Spicy series are the exception. Candy offers no public preview of them, so nothing plays without Premium, and this shop shows only their boxes. If a series is marked Spicy, assume the free route does not apply.
With a free account
Make a free account and episode 2 opens up. Across the open series that adds up to the 361 free episodes in total, which is a decent evening of viewing if you pick series you like. A free account also lets you meet Candy as a chat first: Candy is an AI girlfriend app at heart, and the Shorts sit beside it.
We could not check the message limits of a free account, so we will not guess how much chatting it allows. Test it yourself, and treat anything past the basics as probably Premium territory.
At episode 3 the upgrade window appears. That is the point where a free account stops being enough for the Shorts, and where free Candy AI becomes a question of how badly you want to know what happens next.
What needs Premium
Premium unlocks the rest. A paid episode from episode 3 on needs Premium and tokens: twelve tokens each in most series, thirty in the pornstar twin series. Spicy series need Premium from episode 1, though the first pair costs members no tokens. Spicy episodes beyond the second run thirty or fifty tokens.
The chat side has its own gates. Premium lifts the message cap and adds pictures and videos for adults, live action, and the option to design a companion of your own. An image costs four tokens, and video made from a picture is priced in tokens by its length.
So the honest summary is simple. Free gets you the openers. Anything explicit, anything long, and anything that goes past the first two episodes lives behind Premium. We never promise explicit scenes for free, because there are none in the free episodes.
The cheapest way in if you want more
If the free episodes hooked you, there are two sensible doors. The first is the first month of the monthly plan, which is $9.99 before it moves to $13.99 a month. It is the smallest commitment, and it comes with 100 tokens to spend.
The second door is the yearly plan, $3.99 each month, paid once as $47.88 for the year. That is the lowest monthly rate, but you pay it all at once, so it only makes sense if you know you will stay. The quarterly plan sits in between at $8.99 a month.
Whichever you pick, Premium renews on its own, so set a reminder for the renewal date. Candy says cancelling is open to you whenever you want, through account settings. These prices come from a check at the end of October.

Is Candy AI free to use?
Partly. Every open series opens its first episode to anyone, and signing up for free adds the second. Beyond the second one, you pay with Premium plus tokens, and the Spicy series are Premium from the start.
Does Candy AI have a free trial?
We saw no free trial of Premium. The free part is the free account itself, which opens episode 2 of the open series. For a cheap taste of Premium, the monthly plan charges $9.99 at the start.
Do I need a payment card for the free part?
The opener plays with no account, so no card there. A free account needs sign-up details, but we did not see a card requested for the free episodes. Check the sign-up screen yourself, since Candy can change it.
Are Candy Shorts free?
Some of them are. Nobody pays for the opener, a free account covers the second episode, and together that is 361 free episodes over the open series. Episode 3 and later cost tokens, and Spicy series need Premium.
Is the Candy AI chat free?
We could not check the message limits of a free account, so we cannot say how much chat is free. What we do know is that Premium includes unlimited messages and costs $13.99 a month at list price.
