Tasting notes

Mona and her stepbrother land at a grand home in Kent run by a very proper British family, with strict etiquette and a promise to behave. Mona has other ideas. She teases him on arrival, then loses him to a polished welcome from Charlotte. Episode 1 ends with him in awe and Mona jealous. Episode 2 shows the pair wandering into a bedroom that obviously belongs to one of the sons, where Mona finds a toy and a dare, and a tea hour just twenty minutes away.

Mona is the chaos in a house built for order, and she keeps score of every glance he gives Charlotte. The line crossed is manners themselves. Free episodes stay at teasing, jealousy and well-timed interruptions. Mona also appears in other Candy series.
