Summer break begins, and Brooklyn is about to meet the stepbrother she has never laid eyes on. Dad is out of town, which is exactly the kind of detail certain people in the house have been waiting for. Her stepmother has already mapped out how the next two weeks will go, and Brooklyn's own best friend is glad to play along.
