Dad is gone for two weeks, and his wife cannot manage much on her own after an accident with her leg. Her stepson is left in charge of everything: getting dressed, getting ready, getting settled for the night. Episode 1 opens on a dress zip out of reach and a sentence that sounds far too dangerous to say. Episode 2 keeps the bedtime routine going, with Dad ringing in the middle of it and an ask to stretch out next to her, on the pillow that belongs to Dad. Nobody mentions what happens next.
