To keep up with his mortgage, a homeowner lists his extra bedroom, and the first applicant moves in fast after a very persuasive pitch. Then Sonia knocks, eager for the same room and unwilling to hear that it is taken. Episode 1 is a bidding war in the doorway: the first tenant needs a towel and says so from the shower, Sonia sizes up her rival, and his girlfriend rings in, off work ahead of time and heading straight over. He admits there are two candidates. Sonia promises to outdo whatever happened that morning before the girlfriend walks in. Five episodes, one lease and a clock running down.
