Forgive Me, Father

Tasting notes

Father arrives at a small-town church full of good intentions and a sermon about resisting temptation. Mika sits in the pews, and she listens closely. Episode 1 ends with her kneeling and confessing to impure thoughts about her new priest. Episode 2 turns the confession into a game of questions: what happens when temptation gets close, and what exactly did she imagine after his talk? He tells her to stop, she tells him she is only answering him. She ends by offering a final chance to refuse. He hesitates.

Flavor profile

A vow against a dare. Mika is polite, patient and unhurried, and he keeps answering her questions, which is the problem. The free episodes stay inside whispered confessions and a lingering glance.

Allergy advice Contains: forbidden thoughts, wooden pews and a sermon that backfires. May contain traces of a bargain with higher powers.

Best enjoyed For a quiet, candlelit evening when you want temptation to take its time and a lot of eye contact.
