Owen swallows one pill for cash and suddenly he can see through everyone on campus, which he treats like a secret superpower and a way to pay rent. Then his follow-up visit puts him in front of Dr. Larrea, the one woman his new gift can't read. Episode 1 is smug, silly and a little too confident. Episode 2 brings nosebleeds, panic and a clinical game where each correct guess costs her a layer. It's a sharp setup with a countdown hanging over it, and a doctor who knows more than she says.
